SCORSAZY was born Steven Shack and raised in the heralded “Village Of Harlem” section in New York City. As a youth he was always aware of his God given abilities in athletics and academics. Scorsazy realized these truths early and utilized them with every facet of his being. He was exposed to music right from the cradle. His mother and sister always blasted music from their favorite artists at home. Legends like Al Green, Smokey Robinson, Stephanie Mills and Anita Baker were Scorsazy’s constant reminders of the power of music. When Scorsazy’s sister purchased his first rap album, “Bigger and Deffer” by LL Cool J, he was inspired to write and perform hip hop music. After dropping out New York City’s prestigious Brooklyn Technical High School, Scorsazy was enticed to street life and fast money. With the beckoning of his cousin and best friend, C-GANZ, he continued to write music despite leaving school.
