Being influenced by notorious B.I.G, Ma$e, Cam’ron, Jay Z, Nas, 50 cent, Busta Rhymes and countless other hip hop pioneers lyrics, charisma, performance, and style staples in not just his music but character. With the Black Money movement which include fellow artist Showbroadway, McMan looks to bring a new dynamic to the outlook of an everyday grind with substance and style to match.


Harlem, NYC is known to breed some of the most wittiest, flamboyant, smoothest and fashionably cultured people in the world ShowBroadway falls into this category born and raised on a well known block on Broadway Avenue, Rapper Showbroadway was exposed to a lifestyle that was explosively introduced to the world as HIP HOP music. Born in the 80's, raised in the 90's Showbroadway moved around, residing with different family members after temporarily losing his parents to the streets and drug addiction. As a young teenager, he began looking up to local drug dealers and was mesmerized by the flashy lifestyle of a hustler. Hip Hop music, the arts, and writing were used as an outlet to express his pain and individuality. Growing up listening to artists such as Big L, Notorious BIG, Tupac, Big Pun, Jay-Z, Wu Tang, Ma$e, Cam’ron, Nas, Bone Thugs N Harmony etc it became easy to fall in love with music. Showbroadway gives off a smooth but gritty style in his persona and music, which represents the vision he shares alongside high school friends and fellow members of Black Money Vince "Mcman" Knight and Chad "Chaddoe" Hudson. His music brings back the pure sound of 90's Hip Hop. His raw delivery of lyrics depicts the lifestyle of Harlem's streets, but also offers a commercially viable and party-oriented feel of hip hop today.
